* LEARNING RESOURCES:
Library has a huge range of specialist information resources including a print collection of over one 46,874 odd books items covering every field of knowledge. It subscribes to 70 latest Scientific as well as Academic journals. The special collection includes Books, extensive Reference materials, 576 VCD’S, Rare Photo Collection. More than 3227 bound volumes, about 1130 dissertations submitted by Final year students are housed in the library. Provides 710 Question past year papers on online. E-Resources from Open Access International, National and In- house Data bases. It caters Local and National Newspapers daily.


* LOCATING RESOURCES:
The library Catalogue: available at all times and on and off campus, access the library catalogue via library website from any computer or use any of the Online Public Access Catalogue. You can

  • Locate a book by title and/or author
  • See whether it is currently on shelf or on loan, If so, please place a reservation
  • Browse author names or particular subjects
  • Having found an available item on catalogue, note the Class No. which is on the Spine of the Book/Journal
  • Identify whether the item belongs to Reference Section  or Reserve Shelf
  • Seek the help of staff if you find it difficult to trace an item on shelf

Current journals are displayed on the ground floor. Please contact Journal Section for further assistance.


* STUDY PLACES
Study Places are available on First floor which can accommodate 100 students at any given point of time. Fully vacate your study place for others when taking a break-your belongings may be cleared by staff to allow others to use the place.


* INFORMATION SERVICES:
Some of the important information services provided are Current Awareness Service (New Additions List), Document Delivery Services, Bibliography and Reference service, Networking INFLIB NET , e-Resources and BRITISH COUNCEL for effective Inter Library Loan services.
