Dear Students,

• APAAR, which stands for Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry-> ABC stands for Academic Bank of Credits
• Specialized identification system designed for all students in India.
• Initiative is part of the 'One Nation, One Student ID' program launched by the Union government, aligning with the new National Education Policy of (NEP) 2020.
• Every student in India is required to register for APAAR/ABC ID
• A unique 12-digit code to digitally store, manage, and access all their academic credits, including degrees, diplomas, certificates, training details, and co-curricular accomplishments. 

As a part of implementation of the New National Education Policy (NEP 2020), all students in higher education institutions (UG and PG) are required to register in Academic Bank of Credit (ABC).

NOTE: 1. It is mandatory for all students to register in ABC.

2. Use your personal; external email id for registration in digilocker Account (NOT college email id).

Follow the steps to register in ABC:

STEP1: Create a DigiLocker Account by clicking the link below:

                     https://www.digilocker.gov.in and fill up the simple form.

              (NOTE: If you already have a digilocker account skip step1)

STEP2: Register in ABC by clicking the link below:

                     https://www.abc.gov.in and click on “Watch Video Tutorial” that explains the procedure to register.

(NOTE:In the form;

                        Select Institution Type -> College

                        Select Institution Name -> Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science)

STEP3: Inform your ABC id to the HOD/Incharge of the department to record.
