Dear Students of First Year BA and BSc,

At the outset, let me extend a hearty welcome to Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science (Autonomous) and congratulations on your admission to this premier institute of Goa.

While we will interact closely over the next three years that you will be with us, it is important to make you aware of the college on this first day of your transition from school to the higher education space.

Each of you would have had a close interaction with the Academic Counsellors during your admission process and accordingly made choices. Over the next few days, an induction program would be organised to appraise you of the various unique practices at this college.

Please note that the college has a strict no-tolerance policy to harassment of any nature. In case you experience any such activity, either directly or indirectly, you are advised to bring it up to me immediately. Once settled, you will become aware of committees that are in place to address any such exception.

The entire campus is a “no-smoking” and “tobacco free” zone. Please note the same. Parking lots are available for two and four wheelers on first-come, first-parked basis. Altercations of any kind with teaching and non-teaching staff, security, housekeeping and students is to be avoided at all costs.
