Overview

The College has constituted the Internal Committee (IC) in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2015. The Committee is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and gender-sensitive academic environment for women employees and students. The IC ensures prevention, prohibition, and redressal of sexual harassment through awareness, capacity building, and prompt grievance redressal mechanisms. The institution follows a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment and assures confidentiality and impartiality in handling complaints.

Objectives

To prevent incidents of sexual harassment at the workplace and campus
To provide a safe and supportive environment for women employees and students
To create awareness about gender equality and women’s rights
To establish a transparent and confidential grievance redressal mechanism
To ensure timely inquiry and action as per UGC regulations
