Student Welfare
Student welfare includes services that enhance the physical, mental, and social well-being of students. It promotes balanced growth, fosters a caring college culture, and ensures equal learning opportunities. Educational institutions must prioritize the welfare of their students. The Student Welfare Committee offers essential programs and support to enhance student well-being, campaigns on welfare issues, and collaborates with student-led services. They recommend scholarships, including the prestigious Hira Wagh award for outstanding students. Currently, scholarships are available from the Government student aid fund, Blue Cross Laboratories, and Margao Higher Education Society, all based on merit and funding availability. The committee also facilitates communication between students, parents, and college authorities.
